Flowers by the roadside

As we travel around, either in town or country, we often see a symbolic act that marks the place where a community was injured. The death of a loved one remembered by flowers at the roadside. However, nothing will stop people using the road for business or pleasure and the chances are that one day someone else will be leaving flowers.

What’s sad is that many of these situations might have been avoided if only they’d been a metre one way or the other; if they had only seen the danger a split second earlier; if only they’d replaced the defective tyre; if only……..

Advanced driver training can provide the skills necessary to ensure better observation, positioning and understanding which will enhance one’s safety on the road. It will also increase confidence and enjoyment on the road. But the real benefit may well be that your loved ones are not leaving flowers by the roadside.
